Hoy Excavating is located in Kansas City, MO near the Kansas City International Airport. Our reputation as a highly respected earth moving contractor is well known in the Kansas City area by Developers, Engineers, and other Contractors. Our company’s commitment to excellence shows through our work on each of our projects. We complete many small projects each season, but specialize in mass grading site work. Hoy Excavating utilizes the latest equipment and GPS technology to improve production and accuracy.

Our founder, Benny J. Hoy, started in the heavy construction industry as a teenager, running all types of heavy equipment while completing his apprenticeship courses to become a certified operator. Shortly after getting his certification, and still in his early 20’s, with a loader and a hard work ethic he started his first company.

Over the years we have developed the personnel (many with over 30 years experience), equipment, and management to handle all types of heavy equipment construction. We have built our reputation on quality workmanship and competitive pricing. Using these principles, we can offer our clients a high level of service and dependability.
