Orion Building Corporation was founded in 1983 by W. Richard Cooper, C. Richard (Rick) Daughrity, T. Randall Gill, and the late Martin S. Roberts Jr.  J Moseley joined the firm in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer and after Richard Cooper’s retirement in 2011, became a partner.  In 2019 Randall Gill retired and his son Josh, who has been with Orion since 1994, became Executive VP/President Field Operations and a partner.  Rick Daughrity remains the only founding partner.Orion has become a leader in the delivery of construction management services in Middle Tennessee and the Southeast. While licensed in 19 states, Orion has chosen to focus the majority of our services in Tennessee. This decision has rewarded us with opportunities to develop strong relationships with top area employers, public officials, subcontractors, and vendors. Our founding partners were raised in Middle Tennessee and have raised their families here with pride. We live, worship and educate ourselves and our families and enjoy the vast cultural influences available right here.
